ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ଜାତୀୟ ସମ୍ମାନ ହେଉଛି ଏକ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ସମ୍ମାନ ଯାହାକି ସମ୍ବଲପୁର ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ । ଏହାର ନାମ ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେରଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ନାମିତ ହୋଇଛି । ୧୯୯୧ ମସିହାରେ ଅଲି ସର୍ଦ୍ଦାର ଜାଫ୍ରିଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଥମଥର ପାଇଁ ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ।
ଇତିହାସ[ସମ୍ପାଦନା]
ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଥମେ ୧୯୯୧ ମସିହାରେ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା କିନ୍ତୁ ୧୯୮୯ ମସିହାରେ ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନର ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।
ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ[ସମ୍ପାଦନା]
ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବର୍ଷ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ । ଗୋଟିଏ ବର୍ଷର ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇଁ ଏହାର ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ଏହା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ । ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବର୍ଷ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ମାସରେ ସମ୍ବଲପୁର ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଦିବସ ଅବସରରେ ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ ।
ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇଁ ନଗଦ ୫୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା, ଉତ୍ତରୀୟ, ମାନପତ୍ର, ଫଳକ ଏବଂ ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେରଙ୍କ କବିତାର ଇଂରାଜୀ ଅନୁବାଦ ସଂକଳନ ପୁସ୍ତକଟିଏ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥାଏ ।[୧] [୨]
