କାପେସାଇଟାବିନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Capecitabine, ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଜେଲୋଡା/Xeloda) ଏକ କେମୋଥେରାପି ଔଷଧ (chemotherapy medication) ଯାହା ସ୍ତନ କର୍କଟ, ପାକସ୍ଥଳୀ କର୍କଟ (gastric cancer) ଓ ବୃହଦନ୍ତ୍ର-ମଳାଶୟ କର୍କଟ ।^[୧] ସ୍ତନ କର୍କଟ ରୋଗରେ ଏହା ସ‌ହିତ ଡୋସେଟାକସେଲ (docetaxel) ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଏହି ଔଷଧ ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨]

କାପେସାଇଟାବିନର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ହେଲେ ପେଟ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା, ବାନ୍ତି, ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା, ଦୂର୍ବଳତା ଓ ରାସ ଭଳି ଲକ୍ଷଣମାନ ଦେଖାଯାଏ । ସାଂଘାତିକ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ହେଲେ ଆଲର୍ଜି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା (allergic reactions), ହୃତ୍‌ପିଣ୍ଡ ସମସ୍ୟା ଓ ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ରକ୍ତ କଣିକା (low blood cell counts) ହୋଇପାରେ । ବୃକ୍‌କ ସମସ୍ୟା (kidney problems) ଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଏହା ଦେବା ସମିଚୀନ ନୁହେଁ । ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଏହା ଶିଶୁର କ୍ଷତି କରିପାରେ । ଦେହରେ କାପେସାଇଟାବିନ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତିତ ହୋଇ ୫-ଫ୍ଲୋରୋୟୁରାସିଲ (5-fluorouracil ବା 5-FU) ହେବା ପରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ । ^[୨]
