ମୋକ୍ସିଫ୍ଲୋକ୍ସାସିନକୁ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Moxifloxacin, ଏକ ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଆଭେଲକ୍ସ) ଏକ ଆଣ୍ଟିବାୟୋଟିକ ଯାହା ଅନେକ ଜୀବାଣୁ ସଂକ୍ରମଣରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨] ନିମୋନିଆ, ନେତ୍ରାବରଣ ପ୍ରଦାହ, ଏଣ୍ଡୋକାର୍ଡ଼ାଇଟିସ, ଯକ୍ଷ୍ମା, ଓ ସାଇନୁସାଇଟିସ ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ରୋଗରେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨]^[୩] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ, ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଓ ଆଖି ଟୋପା ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୩]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା, ମୁଣ୍ଦବୁଲା ଓ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବିନ୍ଧା ହୁଏ ।^[୨] ସାଂଘାତିକ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ହେଲେ ପେରିଫେରାଲ ନିଉରୋପାଥି (nerve damage), ସଙ୍କଟ ଜନ‌କ ମାୟୋପାଥି (mayopathy) ଓ ପେଶୀ ରାଜ୍ଜୁ ଛିଣ୍ଡିଯାଏ (en:tendon rupture) ।^[୨] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥା ବା ସ୍ତନ୍ୟପାନ ସମୟରେ ଏହାର ନିରାପତ୍ତା ଅସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଅଛି ।^[୪] ଫ୍ଲୋରୋକୁଇନୋଲିନ (fluoroquinolone ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଏହା ଏକ ଔଷଧ ।^[୨] ଜୀବାଣୁର ଡିଏନଏ ଦ୍ୱିଭାଗ ନ ହୋଇପାରିବାରୁ ବାକ୍ଟେରିସାଇଡାଲ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୁଏ ।^[୨]
