ଭିନବ୍ଲାସ୍ଟିନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ 'Vinblastine')ଏକ କେମୋଥେରାପି ଔଷଧ (chemotherapy medication) ଯାହା ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଔଷଧମାନଙ୍କ ସ‌ହିତ ଅନେକ ପ୍ରକାରର କର୍କଟ ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କର ଚିକିତ୍ସାରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଏହି ରୋଗ‌ଗୁଡ଼ିକର ନାମ ହଜକିନ୍ସ ଲିମ୍ଫୋମା, ନନ ସ୍ମଲ ସେଲ ଫୁସଫୁସ କର୍କଟ, ମୂତ୍ରାଶୟ କର୍କଟ (bladder cancer), ମସ୍ତିଷ୍କ କର୍କଟ, ମେଲାନୋମା ଓ ଟେସ୍ଟିକୁଲାର କର୍କଟ (testicular cancer) । ଏହା ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ injection into a vein ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୧]

ଅଧିକାଂଶ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ଏହି ଔଷଧଦ୍ୱାରା ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ହୁଏ । ସାଧାରଣତଃ ସ୍ପର୍ଶଶକ୍ତିର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ, କୋଷ୍ଠକାଠିନ୍ୟ, ଦୁର୍ବଳତା, ଅରୁଚି ଓ ମୁଣ୍ଡବଥା ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଦେଖାଯାଏ । ସାଂଘାତିକ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ରକ୍ତ କଣିକା (low blood cell counts) ଓ ଅଣନିଶ୍ୱାସୀ (shortness of breath) ଲାଗେ । କୌଣସି ଜୀବାଣୁ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ bacterial infection ଭୋଗୁଥିଲେ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଏନାହିଁ । ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଏହା ଶିଶୁର ହାନୀ କରିବା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ଥାଏ । ^[୧] ଏହା ଜୀବକୋଷର ବିଭକ୍ତିକରଣକୁ ଅବରୋଧ କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୧]

ସନ ୧୯୫୮ରେ ଭିନବ୍ଲାସ୍ଟିନ ପୃଥକ୍ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ।^[୨] ଏହାର ନାମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔଷଧ ଚିଠାରେ (World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines) ଅଛି ଯାହା ମୌଳିକ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସିସ୍ଟମ (health system) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।^[୩] ସନ ୨୦୧୪ରେ ବିକାଶଶୀଳ ଦେଶମାନଙ୍କରେ (developing world) ଏହି ଔଷଧର ଏକ ଡୋଜର କ୍ରୟ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୭.୭୦ରୁ ୩୧.୭୦ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର ଥିଲା । ^[୪] ଇଂଲଣ୍ଡରେ ଏକ ୧୦ମିଗ୍ରା ଭାଏଲର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୧୩.୦୯ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ।^[୫] ପ୍ରଥମେ ମାଡାଗାସ୍କର ପେରିଉଇଙ୍କ୍ଲରୁ Madagascar periwinkle ମିଳିଥିଲା ।^[୬]
