ଏକ୍ସପ୍ରେସୱେ ଭାରତ ର ସର୍ବଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ର ରାଜପଥ । ସେ ଗୁଡିକ 6 କିମ୍ବା 8 ଲେନ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ହେଇଥାଏ ଓ ଏଥିରେ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ପ୍ରବେଶ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ରହିଥାଏ ।ଏଥିରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଓ ନିର୍ଗମ କେତେକ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଟ ପଥ ଦ୍ଵାରା ହେଇଥାଏ । ଭାରତ ରେ ବର୍ତମାନ ସୁଦ୍ଧା 1,455 କିଲୋମିଟର ର ଏକ୍ସପ୍ରେସୱେ  ରହିଛି । .[] ଭାରତ ର ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥ ଉନ୍ନୟନ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଦ୍ଵାରା ଭାରତ ସରକାର ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ଏକ୍ସପ୍ରେସୱେ ଆହୁରି 18,637 କିଲୋମିଟର 2022 ମସିହା ଶୁଦ୍ଧା ନିର୍ମାଣ ପାଇଁ ଯୋଜନା ରଖିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହା ହରତୀୟ ରାସ୍ତା ପରିବହନ ମନ୍ତରାଳୟ ଦ୍ଵାରା ନିର୍ମିତ ଓ ରକ୍ଷ୍ୟଣାବେଶିତ ହେବ ।  []

ବର୍ତମାନ ଆଗ୍ରା -ଲକ୍ଷ୍ନୋ ଏକ୍ସପ୍ରେସୱେ ଭାରତ ର ଦୀର୍ଘତମ  ଏକ୍ସପ୍ରେସୱେ ହେଇ ରହିଛି । ଏହା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ନୋଇଦା-ଆଗ୍ରା ଏକ୍ସପ୍ରେସୱେ  ଦୀର୍ଘତମ ଥିଲା । ଆଗ୍ରା -ଲକ୍ଷ୍ନୋ ଏକ୍ସପ୍ରେସୱେ ରେ 150 ବିଲିଅନ ଟଙ୍କା ଖରଚ ହେଇଛି ।  [][]
