ଅଧିକ ମାତ୍ରାରେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦେଲେ ସାଧାରଣତଃ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ପାକଅନ୍ତନଳୀ ସମସ୍ୟା ହୁଏ ।^[୬] ଗୁରୁତର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ରକ୍ତ କଣିକା ପରିମାଣ କମିଯାଏ ଏବଂ ରାବଡୋମାୟୋଲାଇସିସ୍ ହୋଇପାରେ | ^[୪] ଗର୍ଭଧାରଣ ସମୟରେ ବ୍ୟବହାରର ନିରାପତ୍ତା ଅସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଥିବାବେଳେ ସ୍ତନ୍ୟପାନ ସମୟରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର ନିରାପଦ ଦେଖାଯାଏ | ^[୪] ^[୭] ଅତ୍ୟଧିକ ମାତ୍ରାରେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇପାରେ। ^[୪] ଏକାଧିକ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀରେ ପ୍ରଦାହ ହ୍ରାସ କରି କଲଚିସିନ କାମ କରେ | ^[୮]
