ଟାମସୁଲୋସିନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Tamsulosin, ଏକ ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଫ୍ଲୋମାକ୍ସ/ Flomax) ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ଲକ୍ଷଣ‌ଯୁକ୍ତ ବିନାଇନ ପ୍ରୋସ୍ଟାଟିକ ହାଇପରପ୍ଲାସିଆ (benign prostatic hyperplasia/ BPH), କ୍ରନିକ ପ୍ରୋସ୍ଟାଟାଇଟିସ (chronic prostatitis) ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କ ଚିକିତ୍ସାରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ଓ ବୃକ୍‌କ ପଥର (kidney stones) ବାହାରିଯିବାରେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରେ ।^[୨]^[୩]^[୪] ବଡ଼ ଆକାରର ବୃକ୍‌କ ପଥର ହୋଇଥିଲେ ଅଧିକ ଉପକାର ମିଳେ ।^[୪] ଏହି ଔଷଧକୁ ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨]

ଟାମସୁଲୋସିନର ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଓଜନିଆ, ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବିନ୍ଧା, ନିଦ୍ରାଳୁ ଭାବ, ଅଇ, ଝାପସା ଦୃଷ୍ଟି, ଓ ଯୌନ ସମସ୍ୟା ହୋଇପାରେ । ^[୫]^[୨] ଠିଆ ହେଲେ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ହାଲୁକା ଲାଗେ (feeling lightheaded with standing) ଓ ଆଞ୍ଜିଓଇଡିମା (angioedema) ମଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୫] ଟାମସୁଲୋସିନ ଏକ ଆଲଫା ବ୍ଲକର (alpha blocker) ଓ ଏହା ପ୍ରୋସ୍ଟେଟର ମାଂସପେଶୀକୁ ଶିଥିଳ କରିଦିଏ ।^[୬] ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ଭାବରେ ଏହା ଏକ ଆଲଫା-୧ ଆଡ୍ରେନର୍ଜିକ ରିସେପ୍ଟର (α₁ adrenergic receptor) ବ୍ଲକର । ^[୨]
