ଡାଇକ୍ଲୋଫେନାକ Diclofenac, ଏକ ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଭୋଲଟାରେନ/ Voltaren) ଏକ ନନ୍‌ସ୍ଟେରଏଡାଲ ଆଣ୍ଟିଇନଫ୍ଲାମେଟରି ଔଷଧ (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) ବା ଏନଏସଏଆଇଡି ଯାହା ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ନିବାରଣ ଓ ଗାଉଟ ଭଳି ପ୍ରଦାହ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କର (inflammatory diseases) ଚିକିତ୍ସା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୩] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ଓ ଚର୍ମରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଲଗାଯାଏ ।^[୩] ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣାର ଉପଶମ ଅଧଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇ ୮ଘଣ୍ଟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହେ ।^[୩] ପାକସ୍ଥଳୀ ସମସ୍ୟାରୁ ମୁକ୍ତି ପାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହାକୁ ମିସୋପ୍ରୋସ୍ଟଲ ସାଥିରେ ମିଶେଇ ବିକ୍ରୟ କରାଯାଏ ।^[୪]

ଡାଇକ୍ଲୋଫେନାକର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଉଦର ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା (abdominal pain), ପାକଅନ୍ତନଳୀ ରକ୍ତସ୍ରାବ (gastrointestinal bleeding), ଅଇ, ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଓଜନିଆ, ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବିନ୍ଧା ଓ ଫୁଲା ହୁଏ । ^[୩] ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ସାଂଘାତିକ ହେଲେ ହୃତ୍‌ପିଣ୍ଡ ରୋଗ (heart disease), ସ୍ଟ୍ରୋକ, ବୃକ୍‌କ ସମସ୍ୟା (kidney problems) ଓ ପାକସ୍ଥଳୀ ଘାଆ (stomach ulceration) ହୁଏ । ^[୪]^[୩] ତ୍ରୈମାସିକ ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଏନାହିଁ ।^[୩] ସ୍ତନ୍ୟପାନ (breastfeeding) ସମୟରେ ଏହା ନିରାପଦ ଥାଏ ।^[୪] ଏହା ପ୍ରୋସ୍ଟାଗ୍ଲଣ୍ଡିନ (prostaglandin) ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି କମେଇ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୫] ଉଭୟ କ‌କ୍ସ-୧ (cycloxygenase-1) ଓ କ‌କ୍ସ-୨କୁ (cycloxygenase-2) ଡାଇକ୍ଲୋଫେନାକ ଅବରୋଧ କରିଦିଏ । ^[୩]

ଡାଇକ୍ଲୋଫେନାକ ଔଷଧ ସନ ୧୯୬୫ରେ ସିବା-ଗାଇଗି କମ୍ପାନୀ ପେଟେଣ୍ଟ କରିଥିଲା ଓ ଏହା ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସନ ୧୯୮୮ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତୀପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୩]^[୬] ଏହା ଜେନେରିକ ଔଷଧ (generic medication) ନାମରେ ମିଳେ ।^[୩] ସନ ୨୦୧୮ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ଏହାର ୧ ଡୋଜର ହୋଲସେଲ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୦.୧୫ ଡଲାରରୁ କମ୍ ଥିଲା ।^[୭] ସନ ୨୦୧୬ରେ ଏହା ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ୭୮ତମ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ୯ ନିୟୁତ ପ୍ରେସକ୍ରିପସନ ହୋଇଥିବା ଔଷଧ ଥିଲା । ^[୮] ଏହା ସୋଡ଼ିଅମ ଓ ପୋଟାସିଅମ ସଲ୍ଟ ଆକାରରେ ମିଳେ । ^[୪]
