ଏଥିନିଲଏସଟ୍ରାଡାୟଲ/ନରଏଥିସ୍ଟିରନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Ethinylestradiol/norethisterone, ଅନ୍ୟ ନାମ ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) ଏକ ଜନ୍ମ ନିରୋଧ ବଟିକା ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ଏକ ଏଥିନିଲଏସଟ୍ରାଡାୟଲ (ethinylestradio), ଏକ ଏସ୍ଟ୍ରୋଜେନ (estrogen) ଓ ନରଏଥିସ୍ଟିରନ (norethisterone), ଏକ ପ୍ରୋଜେସ୍ଟେରନ (progestin) ଥାଏ ।[୧] ଜନ୍ମ ନିରୋଧ (birth control), ଋତୁସ୍ରାବ (menstruation) ଲକ୍ଷଣ, ଏଣ୍ଡୋମେଟ୍ରିଓସିସ (endometriosis) ଓ ଋତୁବନ୍ଦ ଲକ୍ଷଣ (menopausal symptoms) ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ବେମାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଏ ।[୧][୨] ବ୍ରଣରେ (acne) ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଏ । ପାଟିରେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦିଆଯାଏ । [୧]
ଏଥିନିଲଏସଟ୍ରାଡାୟଲ/ନରଏଥିସ୍ଟିରନର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଅଇ, ମୁଣ୍ଡବଥା, ରକ୍ତ ଜମାଟ (blood clots), ସ୍ତନ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା, ଅବସାଦ ଓ ଯକୃତ ସମସ୍ୟା (liver problems) ହୋଇପାରେ । ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥା, ପ୍ରସବ (childbirth) ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ୩ ସପ୍ତାହ ଓ ରକ୍ତ ଜମାଟ ସଙ୍କଟ ଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦେବାକୁ ସୁପାରିସ କରାଯାଏନାହିଁ ।[୨][୩] ଅନ୍ୟ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଗର୍ଭପାତ ପରେ ସଙ୍ଗେସଙ୍ଗେ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଇପାରେ ।[୩] ଏହା ଔଷଧ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଧୂମ୍ରପାନ କରିବାକୁ ମନା କରାଯାଏ ।[୪] ଏହି ଔଷଧଦ୍ୱାରା ଡିମ୍ବ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ବାଧାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୁଏ, ଜରାୟୁରେ ଭୃଣ ସଂସ୍ଥାପନ ସଠିକ ଭାବରେ ସମ୍ପାଦନ ହୁଏନି ଓ ଜରାୟୁଗ୍ରୀବାରେ ମ୍ୟୁକସ୍ ଅଧିକ ବହଳିଆ ହୁଏ; ଏଣୁ ଏହା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।[୩]
ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହା ସନ ୧୯୬୪ରେ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।[୫] ଏହାର ନାମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔଷଧ ଚିଠାରେ (World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines) ଅଛି ଯାହା ମୌଳିକ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସିସ୍ଟମ (health system) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।[୬] ଏହା ଜେନେରିକ ଔଷଧ ନାମରେ (generic medication) ବିକ୍ରୟ ହୁଏ ।[୭] ଇଂଲଣ୍ଡରେ ଏହାର ୩ମାସର ଔଷଧ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରାୟ ୨.୭୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ।[୮] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ଏହାର ଏକ ମାସର ଔଷଧ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରାୟ ୨୫ରୁ ୫୦ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର ।[୭] ଅନେକ ପ୍ରକାରର ବ୍ରାଣ୍ଡ ନାମରେ ଏହା ବିକ୍ରୟ ହୁଏ ।[୯]
