ଆଲମୋଟ୍ରିପଟାନ (ବିକ୍ରୟନାମ ଆକ୍ସର୍ଟ ଇତ୍ୟାଦି), ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ଅଧକପାଳି ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧାର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ । ^[୧] ^[୫] ୧୧ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରୁ ଅଧିକ ଲୋକଙ୍କଠାରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୋଇପାରେ । କ୍ଲଷ୍ଟର ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା ପାଇଁ ଏହା କେତେଦୂର ଫଳପ୍ରଦ ତାହାର ପ୍ରମାଣ ଅଭାବ ଅଛି । ^[୫] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ^[୧]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଅଇ, ଶୁଖିଲା ପାଟି, ନିଦ୍ରାଳୁ ଭାବ ଏବଂ କାଲୁଆ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୬] ଅନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ହୃତ୍‌ପିଣ୍ଡ ସମସ୍ୟା, ଷ୍ଟ୍ରୋକ, ରେନଡ ସିଣ୍ଡ୍ରୋମ, ସେରୋଟୋନିନ୍ ସିଣ୍ଡ୍ରୋମ ଏବଂ ଔଷଧର ଅତ୍ୟଧିକ ବ୍ୟବହାର ଯୋଗୁ ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା ହୋଇପାରେ । ^[୬] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର ଶିଶୁର କ୍ଷତି କରିପାରେ । ^[୬] ଏହା ଏକ ଟ୍ରିପ୍ଟାନ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ । ^[୧]

୧୯୯୨ ମସିହାରେ ଆଲମୋଟ୍ରିପଟାନ ପେଟେଣ୍ଟ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ଏବଂ ୨୦୦୦ରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୭] ଏହା ଏକ ସାଧାରଣ ଔଷଧ ଭାବରେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ । ^[୧] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ୨୦୨୧ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଏକ ମାତ୍ରା ଔଷଧ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୨.୮୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ହୋଇଥାଏ। ^[୧] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହି ପରିମାଣର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ $୯ ଡଲାର ଅଟେ। ^[୮]
