ଇକାଟିବାଣ୍ଟ, ଫିରାଜିର ବ୍ରାଣ୍ଡ ନାମରେ ବିକ୍ରି ହେଉଛି, ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ପରିମାଣର ସି୧-ଇଷ୍ଟରେଜ ଇନହିବିଟର ନଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବଂଶଗତ ଆଞ୍ଜିଓଇଡିମା (ଏଚଏଇ/HAE) ଆକ୍ରମଣର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୨] ^[୩] ଏସିଇ ଇନହିବିଟର କାରଣରୁ ହେଉଥିବା ଆଞ୍ଜିଓଇଡିମା ପାଇଁ ଏହା ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ହେବା ଦେଖାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ ।^[୪] ^[୫] ଚର୍ମ ତଳେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଆକାରରେ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୩]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକ୍ସନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଲାଲ ରଙ୍ଗ, ଗଲୁ ଏବଂ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୩] ଅନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଜ୍ୱର, ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା ଏବଂ ବାନ୍ତି ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୬] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଜନିତ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଅସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଅଟେ | ^[୭] ଏହା ଏକ ବ୍ରାଡିକାଇନିନ ବି 2 ରିସେପ୍ଟର ଇନହିବିଟର ।^[୨]

୨୦୦୮ ମସିହାରେ ୟୁରୋପରେ ଏବଂ ୨୦୧୧ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ଇକାଟିବାଣ୍ଟ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୩] ^[୮] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଏହାର ପ୍ରତି ମାତ୍ରା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧,୪୦୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ହୁଏ ।^[୬] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହି ରାଶିର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୩,୬୦୦ ଡଲାର ଅଟେ ।^[୯]
