ହାଇଡ୍ରକ୍ସିଜିନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Hydroxyzine, ଏକ ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଆଟାରାକ୍ସ/ Atarax) ଏକ ପ୍ରକାର ଆଣ୍ଟିହିସ୍ଟାମିନ (antihistamine) ଟାଇପର ଔଷଧ ।^[୩] ଉଦ୍‌ବେଗ, ଅଇ (nausea) ଓ ଗଲୁ (itchiness) ହେଉଥିଲେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୩] ଏହି ଔଷଧ ପାଟିରେ (by mouth) ବା ମାଂସପେଶୀରେ (injection into a muscle) ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ^[୩]

ଏହି ଔଷଧର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ନିଦ୍ରାଳୁ ଭାବ, ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବିନ୍ଧା ଓ ଶୁଷ୍କ ପାଟି (dry mouth) ହୋଇଯାଏ ।^[୩]^[୪] ସାଂଘାତିକ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ହେଲେ ଇସିଜିରେ କ୍ୟୁଟି ଲମ୍ବ ହୋଇଯାଏ (QT prolongation) ।^[୪] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥା ଓ ସ୍ତନ୍ୟପାନ ସମୟରେ ଏହି ଔଷଧର ନିରାପତ୍ତା ବିଷୟ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇନାହିଁ ।^[୩] ହିସ୍ଟାମିନ (histamine) ପ୍ରଭାବକୁ ଅବରୋଧ କରି ଏହା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୪] ପିପେରାଜିନ (piperazine) ରାସାୟନିକ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ପରିବାରର ଏହା ଏକ ସଦସ୍ୟ । ^[୩]
