ମେଟ୍ରୋନିଡାଜୋଲ (ଏମଏନ‌ଜେଡ) ଔଷଧ ବଜାରରେ ଫ୍ଲାଜିଲ ନାମରେ ବିକ୍ରୟ ହୁଏ; ଏହା ଏକ ଆଣ୍ଟିବାୟୋଟିକ ଓ ଏକ‌କୋଷୀ ଜୀବ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ଔଷଧ । ^[୧] ଏହାକୁ ଏକ‌କ ବା ଏକତ୍ର ଭାବେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଆଣ୍ଟିବାୟୋଟିକ ସ‌ହିତ ମିଶେଇ ପେଲଭିକ ପ୍ରଦାହ ରୋଗ, ଏଣ୍ଡୋକାର୍ଡ଼ାଇଟିସ ଓ ଜୀବାଣୁ ଭାଜିନୋସିସ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବ୍ୟ‌ବ‌ହାର ହୁଏ । ଡ୍ରାକୁନ‌କୁଲିଆସିସ, ଜିଆଡିଆସିସ, ଟ୍ରାଇକୋମୋନିଆସିସ ଓ ଆମିବିଆସିସ ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହୁଏ । ^[୧]ସାମାନ୍ୟ ଓ ମଧ୍ୟମ ଧରଣର କ୍ଲସ୍ଟ୍ରିଡିଅମ ଡିଫିସିଲ କୋଲାଇଟିସ ରୋଗର ପ୍ରଥମ ଘଟଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହା ପସନ୍ଦୀୟ ଔଷଧ । ^[୨] ଖାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ, କ୍ରିମ ଆକାରରେ ଓ ଶୀରା ମାଧମ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ମିଳେ । ^[୧]
