ପାଣ୍ଟୋପ୍ରାଜୋଲ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Pantoprazole, ପ୍ରଥମ ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ପ୍ରୋଣ୍ଟୋନିକ୍ସ/ Protonix) ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ପାକସ୍ଥଳୀ ଘାଆ (stomach ulcer), ଗାସ୍ଟ୍ରୋଏସୋଫେଜିଆଲ ରିଫ୍ଲକ୍ସ ଡିଜିଜ ଯୋଗୁ ହେଉଥିବା ଇରୋସିଭ ଏସୋଫେଜାଇଟିସ (erosive esophagitis) ରୋଗର ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପକାଳୀନ ଚିକିତ୍ସା, ଏସୋଫେଜାଇଟିସ ରୋଗ ଶୁଖିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ଅତ୍ୟଧିକ ଅମ୍ଳସ୍ରାବୀ ଜୋଲିଞ୍ଜର ଏଲିସନ ସିଣ୍ଡ୍ରୋମ (Zollinger–Ellison syndrome) ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨] ହେଲିକୋବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟର ପାଇଲୋରି (Helicobacter pylori) ରୋଗ ଭଲ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଔଷଧ ସ‌ହିତ ପାଣ୍ଟୋପ୍ରାଜୋଲ ଦିଆଯାଇପାରେ ।^[୩] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଓ ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଇପାରେ । ^[୨]

ଏହାର ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା, ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା, ବାନ୍ତିମ ପେଟ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଓ ଗଣ୍ଠି ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା arthralgia ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୨] ସାଂଘାତିକ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ହେଲେ ଆନାଫାଇଲାକ୍‌ସିସ, ଆଟ୍ରୋଫିକ ଗାସ୍ଟ୍ରାଇଟିସ (atrophic gastritis), ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ମ୍ୟାଗନେସିଅମ (low magnesium) ଓ ଭିଟାମିନ ବି୧୨ ଅଭାବ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୨] ପାଣ୍ଟୋପ୍ରାଜୋଲ ଏକ ପ୍ରୋଟିନ-ପମ୍ପ ଇନହିବିଟର (proton pump inhibitor) ଯାହା ଗ୍ୟାସ୍ଟ୍ରିକ ଏସିଡ ସ୍ରାବ କମେଇଦିଏ ।^[୨] ଏହା ପାକସ୍ଥଳୀରେ ହାଇଡ୍ରୋଜେନ ପୋଟାସିଅମ ଏଟିପେଜର ((H+/K+)-ATPase) କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ ଅଣସକ୍ରିୟ କରିଦିଏ ।^[୪]^[୨]

ପାଣ୍ଟୋପ୍ରାଜୋଲ ଅନୁଶୀଳନ ସନ ୧୯୮୫ରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା ଓ ସନ ୧୯୯୪ରେ ଜର୍ମାନୀରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାରରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରାଗଲା ।^[୫] ଏହା ଜେନେରିକ ଔଷଧ ନାମରେ (generic medication) ବିକ୍ରୟ ହୁଏ ।^[୨] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ଏହାର ଏକ ମାସ ଡୋଜର ହୋଲସେଲ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୧୦ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାରରୁ କମ୍ ।^[୬] ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୦.୦୫ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ କିନ୍ତୁ ଏକ ଡୋଜ ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୫ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ।^[୩]
