    ଆସାଇକ୍ଲୋଭିର, ଅନ୍ୟ ନାମ ଏସିକ୍ଲୋଭିର ବା ଆସାଇକ୍ଲୋଗୁଆନୋସିନ ଏକ ପ୍ରକାର ଭୁତାଣୁନିରୋଧି ଔଷଧ[୩] ପ୍ରଥମିକ ଭାବରେ ଏହା ସାମାନ୍ୟ ହର୍ପିସ ଭୁତାଣୁ (herpes simplex virus), ହାଡ଼ଫୁଟି, ଓ ହର୍ପିସ ଜୋସ୍ଟର ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହୃତ ହେଉଥିଲା । ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରତିରୋପ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସାଇଟୋମେଗାଲୋଭୁତାଣୁ ଓ ଏପସ୍ଟେନ-ବାର ଭୁତାଣୁ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ମୂଖ୍ୟ । ଏହା ପାଟି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ଶୀରାରେ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଥାଏ । [୪]

    ଏହାର ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଇ ଓ ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା ମୂଖ୍ୟ । ସାଂଘାତିକ ସଂଭାବ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବୃକ୍‌କ ସମସ୍ୟା ଓ ଥ୍ରୋମ୍ବୋସାଇଟୋପେନିଆ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ‌ଯୋଗ୍ୟ । ବୃକ୍‌କ ଓ ଯକୃତ ସମସ୍ୟା ଥିଲେ ସାବଧାନତା ସ‌ହ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।[୪] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ କୌଣସି ସମସ୍ୟା ଦେଖାନଥିବାଲୁ ଏହା ନିରାପଦ ମନେ କରାଯାଏ । [୪][୫] ସ୍ତନ୍ୟପାନ ସମ‌ୟରେ ଏହ ନିରାପଦ । [୬] ଆସାଇକ୍ଲୋଭିର ଏକ ନ୍ୟୁକ୍ଲିକଏସିଡ ଆନାଲଗ ଯାହା ଗୁଅନୋସିନରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୋଇଥାଏ । ଭୁତାଣୁର ଡିଏନଏ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି କମେଇ ଏହା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହୁଏ ।[୪]
