ଟରବିନାଫାଇନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Terbinafine, ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଲାମିସିଲ।/Lamisil) ଏକ କବକରୋଧୀ ବା ଆଣ୍ଟିଫଙ୍ଗାଲ ଔଷଧ (antifungal medication) ଯାହା ଯାଦୁ (ringworm), ପିଟିରିଆସିସ ଭର୍ସିକଲର (pityriasis versicolor) ଓ ଓନିକୋମାଇକୋସିସ (ନଖର କବକ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ) ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସାରେ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର କରାଯାଏ ।^[୧]^[୨] ଏହି ଔଷଧ ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ, ଚର୍ମରେ କ୍ରିମ ବା ମଲମ ଆକାରରେ ଲଗାଯାଏ । ^[୧]^[୩] ନଖର ସଂକ୍ରମଣରେ କ୍ରିମ ଓ ମଲମ କାମ କରେନାହିଁ ।^[୪]

ଟରବିନାଫାଇନ ପାଟିରେ ଦେଲେ ଅଇ, ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା, ମୁଣ୍ଡବଥା, କାଶ, ରାସ ଓ ଯକୃତ ଏଞ୍ଜାଇମ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ([[::en:elevated liver enzymes|:en:elevated liver enzymes]]) ହେବା ଭଳି ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାମାନ ଦେଖାଯାଏ ।^[୧] ସାଂଘାତିକ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଯକୃତ ସମସ୍ୟା (liver problems) ଓ ଆଲର୍ଜି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାମାନ (allergic reactions) ଦେଖାଯାଏ ।^[୧] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଏହା ଦେବାକୁ ସୁପାରିସ କରାଯାଏନାହିଁ ।^[୧] କ୍ରିମ ଓ ମଲମ ଲଗେଇଲେ ଗଲୁ ହୋଇପାରେ । ^[୨] ଟରବିନାଫାଇନ ଏକ ଆଲିଲାମାଇନ (allylamines) ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଔଷଧ ।^[୧] କବକର ସ୍ଟିରଲ (sterols) ତିଆରି କରିବା ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ଏହି ଔଷଧ କମେଇ ଦେଇ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହୁଏ । ^[୧]

ସନ ୧୯୯୧ରେ ଟରବିନାଫାଇନ ଆବିଷ୍କୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୫] ଏହାର ନାମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔଷଧ ଚିଠାରେ (World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines) ଅଛି ଯାହା ମୌଳିକ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସିସ୍ଟମ (health system) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।^[୬] ବିକାଶଶୀଳ ଦେଶମାନଙ୍କରେ (developing world) ଏହି ଔଷଧର ଏକ ୨୦ ଗ୍ରାମ ଟ୍ୟୁବର କ୍ରୟ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୨.୨୦ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର ।^[୭] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ଏହାର ଏକ କୋର୍ଷ ଚିକିତ୍ସାର ଔଷଧ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୨୫ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାରରୁ କମ୍ ଏହା ବିନା ପ୍ରେସକ୍ରିପସନ୍‌ରେ (over the counter) ମିଳେ ।^[୪]
