ଷ୍ଟିରିପେଣ୍ଟଲ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Stiripentol), ଡାଏକୋମିଟ୍ ଏହାର ଏକ ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ଏକ ପ୍ରକାର ଅପସ୍ମାର ରୋଗ ଯାହାକୁ ଶିଶୁ ଅବସ୍ଥାର ଗୁରୁତର ମାୟୋକ୍ଲୋନିକ ଅପସ୍ମାର (SMEI, Dravet syndrome) କୁହାଯାଏ ତାହାର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ଏହା ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୧] ^[୪] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୪] ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରୁ ଅଧିକ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ଏହା ସ‌ହିତ କ୍ଲୋବାଜାମ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୪]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଅରୁଚି, ଓଜନ ହ୍ରାସ, ଶୋଇବାରେ ଅସୁବିଧା, ନିଦ୍ରାଳୁ ଏବଂ ଖରାପ ସମନ୍ୱୟ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ନିଉଟ୍ରୋଫିଲ୍, କମ୍ ପ୍ଲାଟେଲେଟ୍ ଏବଂ ଆତ୍ମହତ୍ୟା ପ୍ରବଣତା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୪] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କଲେ ଶିଶୁର କ୍ଷତି ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୪] ଏହା ଏକ ଅପସ୍ମାରରୋଧୀ ବା ଆଣ୍ଟିକନଭଲସାଣ୍ଟ ଯାହା ସୁଗନ୍ଧିତ ଆଲିଲିକ୍ ଆଲକୋହୋଲର ରାସାୟନିକ ଗଠନ ଭଳି ଥାଏ ।^[୪]

୨୦୦୭ ମସିହାରେ ୟୁରୋପରେ ଏବଂ ୨୦୧୮ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ଷ୍ଟିରିପେଣ୍ଟଲ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୧] ^[୪] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଦିନ‌କୁ ୨୫୦ ମିଗ୍ରା ଦୁଇଥର ଏକ ମାସ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦେଲେ ତାହାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ 2021 ସୁଦ୍ଧା ପ୍ରାୟ ୨୮୦ ଡଲାର ଥିଲା ।^[୫] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହି ରାଶିର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୬୦୦ ଡଲାର ଅଟେ। ^[୬]
