ପଲିଡୋକାନୋଲ, ଆସ୍କ୍ଲେରା ହେଉଛି ଏକ ବେପାର ନାମ, ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ସ୍ପାଇଡର ଶିରା ଏବଂ ରେଟିକୁଲାର ଶିରା ଓ ଭେରିକଜ ଶିରା ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୧] ଏହା ହେମାଞ୍ଜିଓଓମା ଏବଂ ଭାସ୍କୁଲାର ବିକୃତି ପାଇଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୨] ସ୍କ୍ଲେରୋଥେରାପିର ଏକ ଅଂଶ ଭାବରେ ଏହା ଶିରାରେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୩]

୨୦୧୦ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ପଲିଡୋକାନୋଲକୁ ଅନୁମୋଦନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ।^[୧] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ପଲିଡୋକାନୋଲର ୨ ମିଲି ଦ୍ରବର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୨୦୨୧ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ପ୍ରାୟ ୨୨ ଡଲାର ଥିଲା । ^[୪] ଏହା ପ୍ରସାଧନ ସାମଗ୍ରୀରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୫]
