ଟ୍ରାଇହେକ୍ସିଫେନିଡିଲ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Trihexyphenidyl/ THP), ବେନଜେକ୍ସଲ୍ ଭାବରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜଣାଶୁଣା, ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ପାର୍କିନସୋନିଜ୍ମ ଏବଂ ଆଣ୍ଟିସାଇକୋଟିକ ଔଷଧ ଯୋଗୁ ଘଟୁଥିବା କିଛି ଏକ୍ସଟ୍ରାପିରାମିଡାଲ ରୋଗ ଲକ୍ଷଣମାନଙ୍କର ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୨]^[୧] ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଜନିତ ପାର୍କିନ୍‌ସନ୍ ରୋଗରେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ସୁପାରିଶ କରାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ ।^[୩] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୧] ଔଷଧର ପ୍ରଭାବ ଏକ ଘଣ୍ଟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇ ୧୨ ଘଣ୍ଟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହିପାରେ ।^[୧]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଶୁଖିଲା ପାଟି, ଅସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି, ଅଇ, ଏବଂ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବୁଲାଇବା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଅପବ୍ୟବହାର, ଉଦ୍‌ବେଗ, ଶୋଇବାରେ ଅସୁବିଧା ଏବଂ ହାଲୁସିନେସନ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୩] ଏହା ଆଣ୍ଟିମସ୍କାରିନିକ୍ ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଏବଂ ମସ୍ତିଷ୍କରେ କୋଲିନରଜିକ କ୍ରିୟା ହ୍ରାସ କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୧]^[୩]

ଟ୍ରାଇହେକ୍ସିଫେନିଡିଲ ୧୯୪୮ ମସିହାରେ ପେଟେଣ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ୧୯୪୯ ମସିହାରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାରରେ ବିନିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୪]^[୧] ଏହା ଜେନେରିକ ଔଷଧ ନାମରେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ହୁଏ ।^[୩] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ୨ ମିଗ୍ରା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଏହି ଔଷଧର ୮୪ଟି ବଟିକାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୨୦୨୧ ମସିହା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ୫ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଥିଲା । ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହିଭଳି ଏହା ଶସ୍ତା ଅଟେ ।^[୫]
