ସିପୋନିମୋଡ, Mayzent ବେପାର ନାମ, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ଏକାଧିକ ବା ମଲ୍ଟିପ୍ଲ ସ୍କ୍ଲେରୋସିସ୍ (ଏମଏସ/ MS)ର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୭] ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ଭାବେ ଏହା ଏମଏସର ପୁନରାବର୍ତ୍ତକ ଧରଣର ରୋଗ ବିଶେଷତଃ ପୃଥକୀକୃତ ସିଣ୍ଡ୍ରୋମ, ପୁନରାବର୍ତ୍ତକ ରୋଗ ଏବଂ ସକ୍ରିୟ ପ୍ରଗତିଶୀଳ ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୭] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୭]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା, ଉଚ୍ଚ ରକ୍ତଚାପ ଏବଂ ଯକୃତ ସମସ୍ୟା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୭] ଅନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ, ମାକୁଲାର ଇଡିମା, ଅନିୟମିତ ହୃତ୍ ସ୍ପନ୍ଦନ ଏବଂ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ରିଭର୍ସିବଲ୍ ଏନସେଫାଲୋପାଥି ସିଣ୍ଡ୍ରୋମ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୮] କଦଳୀ କିମ୍ବା ସୋୟା ପାଇଁ ଆଲର୍ଜି ଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କଠାରେ ଏହା ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ | ^[୯] ଏହା ସ୍ପିଙ୍ଗୋସିନ୍ -1-ଫସଫେଟ୍ ରିସେପ୍ଟରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଅବରୋଧ କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୯]

୨୦୧୯ ମସିହାରେ ଆମେରିକାରେ ଏବଂ ୨୦୨୦ରେ ୟୁରୋପରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ସିପୋନିମୋଡ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୯] ^[୮] ଦୈନିକ ୨ ମିଗ୍ରା ମାତ୍ରା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଏକ ମାସର ଔଷଧ ପାଇଁ ୨୦୨୧ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୮୪୦୦ ଡଲାର ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ହୁଏ ^[୧୦] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ରାଶିର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୮୦୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଅଟେ ।^[୧୧] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହା କେବଳ ବିଶେଷ ଧରଣର ଦୋକାନର ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ । ^[୮]
