ଡୋକ୍ସାଜୋସିନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Doxazosin, ଏକ ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ କାର୍ଡ଼ୁରା/ Cardura) ଏକ ଔଷଧର ନାମ ଯାହା ବିନାଇନ ପ୍ରୋସ୍ଟାଟିକ ହାଇପରପ୍ଲାସିଆ ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚ ରକ୍ତଚାପ ରୋଗ ଚିକିତ୍ସାରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୧] ଉଚ୍ଚ ରକ୍ତଚାପ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହା କମ୍ ପସନ୍ଦ କରାଯାଏ ।^[୧] ପାଟିରେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦିଆଯା ।^[୧]

ଡୋକ୍ସାଜୋସିନର ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଓଜନିଆ, ଫୁଲା, ନିଦ୍ରାଳୁ, ଅଇ, ଅଣନିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ଓ ଉଦର ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ସାଂଘାତିକ ହେଲେ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ ଅଳ୍ପ ରକ୍ତଚାପ (low blood pressure with standing), ଅନିୟମିତ ହୃଦ୍‌ଗତି (irregular heart beat) ଓ ପ୍ରାୟାପିଜ୍ମ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧]^[୨] ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦେବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପ୍ରୋସ୍ଟେଟ କର୍କଟ ନଥିବା ନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରାଯାଏ । ^[୧] ଏହା ଏକ ଆଲଫା-୧ ବ୍ଲକର (α_୧-selective adrenergic blocker) ଯାହା କୁଇନାଜୋଲିନ (quinazoline) ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଯୌଗିକ ପଦାର୍ଥ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ।^[୧]
