ମାଫେନାଇଡ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Mafenide), ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସଲଫାମାଇଲନ ଏକ ବେପାର ନାମ, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଆଣ୍ଟିବାୟୋଟିକ୍ ଯାହା ଦଗ୍ଧ ରୋଗୀଙ୍କ ସଂକ୍ରମଣକୁ ରୋକିବା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୧] ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ଭାବରେ ଏହା ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ କିମ୍ବା ତୃତୀୟ ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ଦଗ୍ଧ ରୋଗୀ ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୨] ଏହା ଚର୍ମରେ କ୍ରିମ୍ କିମ୍ବା ଦ୍ରବଣ ଆକାରରେ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରାଯାଏ ।^[୧]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଏହା ପ୍ରୟୋଗ ହୋଇଥିବା ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଆଲର୍ଜି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଏବଂ ଏସିଡୋସିସ୍ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] ବୃକ୍‌କ ଜନିତ ସମସ୍ୟାରେ ଏହା ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ ।^[୩] ଏହା ଏକ ସଲଫୋନାମାଇଡ୍ ଏବଂ ମୃତ ତନ୍ତୁ ଭିତର ଦେଇ ଯିବାକୁ ସକ୍ଷମ ଅଟେ ।^[୨] ^[୪]
