ନର୍‌ଏପିନେଫ୍ରିନ (Norepinephrine, ଅନ୍ୟ ନାମ ନରଆଡ୍ରେନାଲିନ/ noradrenaline, ଏକ ଔଷଧ (medication) ଯାହା ଅତି ଅଳ୍ପ ଅଳ୍ପ ରକ୍ତଚାପ (low blood pressure) ରୋଗର ଚିକିତ୍ସାରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୧] ବିଶେଷତଃ ସେପ୍ସିସ (sepsis) ଥିଲେ ଓ ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ତରଳ ପଦାର୍ଥ ଦେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଉପକାର ନ ମିଳିଲେ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨] ଏହା ନିଉରୋଟ୍ରାନ୍ସମିଟର (neurotransmitter) କାମ କରୁଥିବା ଓ ହରମୋନ ନର୍‌ଏପିନେଫ୍ରିନ ସ‌ହିତ ସମାନ । ଏହା ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ (slow injection into a vein) ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । .^[୧]

ଏହାର ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ସାଧାରଣତଃ ମୁଣ୍ଡବଥା, ଧୀର ହୃତ୍‌ପିଣ୍ଡ ଗତି ଓ ଉତ୍କଣ୍ଠା (anxiety) ଦେଖାଯାଏ । ଅନିୟମିତ ହୃତ୍‌ପିଣ୍ଡ ଗତି (irregular heartbeat) ମଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇପାରେ । ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଦେଉଥିବା ସ୍ଥାନର ଶିରାରୁ ଏହା ଲିକ୍ ହୋଇଗଲେ ଅବ‌ୟବ ରକ୍ତଶୁନ୍ୟ (limb ischemia) ହୋଇଯାଏ । ଏହି ଭଳି ଅବସ୍ଥା ହେଲେ ଉକ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଫେଣ୍ଟୋଲାମିନ (phentolamine) ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଦେଲେ ପରିସ୍ଥିତିର ଉନ୍ନତି ହୋଇପାରେ । ଆଲଫା ଆଡ୍ରେନର୍ଜିକ ରିସେପ୍ଟର (alpha adrenergic receptors) ସ‌ହିତ ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଏହା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୧]

ସନ ୧୯୪୬ରେ ନର୍‌ଏପିନେଫ୍ରିନ ଆବିଷ୍କୃତ ହୋଇ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ସନ ୧୯୫୦ରେ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୧]^[୩] ଏହା ଜେନେରିକ ଔଷଧ ନାମରେ (generic medication) ବିକ୍ରୟ ହୁଏ ।^[୧] ସନ ୨୦୧୫ରେ ବିକାଶଶୀଳ ଦେଶମାନଙ୍କରେ (developing world) ଏହି ଔଷଧର ଏକ ୪ମି:ଗ୍ରା: ଭାଏଲର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୦.୪୨ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର । ^[୪] ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହି ପରିମାଣର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୪.୪୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ।^[୫]
