ଦେବଦତ୍ତ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ(୧୧ ଡିସେମ୍ବର ୧୯୭୦ରେ ଜନ୍ମିତ) ଜଣେ ଡାକ୍ତର, ନେତୃତ୍ୱ ପରାମର୍ଶଦାତା ଓ ଲେଖକ । ତାଙ୍କର ରଚନାବଳୀ ମୁଖ୍ୟତଃ ପୁରାଣ, କିମ୍ବଦନ୍ତୀ ଓ ମ୍ୟାନେଜମେଣ୍ଟ ପୃଷ୍ଟଭୂମୀ ଉପରେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟବସିତ । [୧][୨]ସେ ଭାରତର ସର୍ବବୃହତ ରିଟେଲ କମ୍ପାନୀ "ଫ୍ୟୁଚର ଗ୍ରୁପ"ର ଚିଫ୍ ବିଲିଫ୍ ଅଫିସର ଭାବରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।[୩][୪] "ମିଡ଼ ଡେ" ଖବରକାଗଜରେ ସେ ଜଣେ ନିୟମିତ ସ୍ଥମ୍ଭକାର ।[୫]

ଦେବଦତ୍ତ ମୁମ୍ବାଇରେ ଜନ୍ମିତ ଜଣେଓଡ଼ିଆ । ମୁମ୍ବାଇର ଚେମ୍ବୁରଠାରେ ତାଙ୍କ ବାଲ୍ୟଜୀବନ ବ୍ୟତିତ ହୋଇଛି[୫] ସେ ମୁମ୍ବାଇର "ଗ୍ରାଣ୍ଟ ମେଡିକାଲ କଲେଜ"ରୁ ଏମ.ବି.ବି.ଏସ କରି ମୁମ୍ବାଇ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରୁ କମ୍ପେୟାରିଟିଭ୍ ମ୍ୟାଇଥୋଲୋଜିରେ ଅଧିକ ଜ୍ଞାନଲାଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଦେବଦତ୍ତ ଜଣେ ଐତିହାସିକ ବା ପୁରାତତ୍ନବିତ ନୁହନ୍ତି । ତାଙ୍କ ଲେଖାଗୁଡିକ ତଥ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟବସିତ ନହୋଇ ସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ ଉପରେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟବସିତ ହୋଇଥାଏ । [୬]

ଦେବଦତ୍ତ ସାନୋଫି ଆଭେନଟିସ୍ ଓ ଆପୋଲୋ ଗ୍ରୁପ ଭଳି ଫାର୍ମା ଓ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟସେବା ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗରେ ୧୪ବର୍ଷ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି । [୭] ଏହି ସମୟରେ ସେ ନିଜ ଖାଲି ସମୟ ପୌରାଣିକ ବିଷୟବସ୍ତୁକୁ ଆଧାର କରି ପ୍ରବନ୍ଧ ଓ ପୁସ୍ତକ ଲେଖୁଥିଲେ । କ୍ରମେ ଏହା ତାଙ୍କର ବୃତ୍ତି ହୋଇଯାଇଥିଲା । ସେ ୟର୍ଣଷ୍ଟ ଓ ୟଙ୍ଗ ସଂସ୍ଥାରେ ଜଣେ ପରାମର୍ଶଦାତା ଭାବରେ ମଧ୍ୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଥମ ପୁସ୍ତକ "ଶିବା : ଆନ ଇଣ୍ଟ୍ରଡକ୍ସନ" ୧୯୯୭ ମସିହାରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା । [୮] ନିଜର ସମସ୍ତ ପୁସ୍ତକର ବାଖ୍ୟା ଦେବଦତ୍ତ ନିଜେ କରନ୍ତି । [୯]

୨୦୦୯ ମସିହାରେ ଭାରତରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ପ୍ରଥମ ଟେଡ଼ ସମ୍ମେଳନରେ ଦେବଦତ୍ତ ଜଣେ ବକ୍ତା ଥିଲେ । [୧୦][୧୧] ୨୦୧୦ ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ମାସରେ ସେ କଲମ୍ବିଆରେ "ସବଜେକ୍ଟିଭ ବାର୍ଲଡ ଓ ମ୍ୟାଇଥୋଲୋଜି ଅଫ ଆଇଡେଣ୍ଟିଟି" ଉପରେ ନିଜର ସଂଦର୍ଭ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଥିଲେ ।  ସି.ଏନ୍,ବି.ସି ଟିଭି ଚ୍ୟାନେଲରେ ସେ ମେନକା ଦୋଷୀଙ୍କ ସହ "ବିଜିନେସ ସୂତ୍ର" ନାମକ ଏକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ପରିବେଷଣ କରୁଥିଲେ । ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ସେ ରାମାୟଣ ଓ ମହାଭାରତରୁ ଆଜିର ମ୍ୟାନେଜମେଣ୍ଟ ଶିକ୍ଷାର ଅବତାରଣା କରୁଥିଲେ । ସେ ଷ୍ଟାର ଟିଭି ଓ ଏପିକ ଟିଭି ଏବଂ ରିଲାଏନସ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗ ପାଇଁ ଜଣେ ପରାମର୍ଶଦାତା ଭାବରେ ମଧ୍ୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି । [୧୨]
