ଡକ୍ସୋରୁବିସିନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Doxorubicin, ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଆଡ୍ରିଆମାଇସିନ) ଏକ କେମୋଥେରାପି ଔଷଧ (chemotherapy medication) ଯାହା କର୍କଟ ରୋଗର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର କରାଯାଏ । ସ୍ତନ କର୍କଟ, ମୂତ୍ରାଶୟ କର୍କଟ (bladder cancer), କାପୋସି ସାର୍କୋମା (Kaposi's sarcoma), ଲିମ୍ଫୋମା ଓ ଆକ୍ୟୁଟ ଲିମ୍ପୋସାଇଟିକ ଲିଉକେମିଆ (acute lymphocytic leukemia) ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୂଖ୍ୟତଃ ଏହା ସାହାଯ୍ୟରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରାଯାଏ । ଅଧିକାଂଶ ସମୟରେ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ କେମୋଥେରାପି ଔଷଧ (together with other chemotherapy agents) ସ‌ହିତ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଡକ୍ସୋରୁବିସିନ ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ (injection into a vein) ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୩]

ଏହାର ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ କେଶ ହାନି (hair loss), ଅସ୍ଥିମଜ୍ଜା ଦମନ (bone marrow suppression), ବାନ୍ତି, ରାସ୍ ଓ ପାଟି ପ୍ରଦାହ (inflammation of the mouth) ଆଦି ଦେଖାଯାଏ । ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ସାଂଘାତିକ ହେଲେ ଆନାଫାଇଲାକ୍‌ସିସ ଭଳି ଆଲର୍ଜି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା, ହୃତ୍‌ପିଣ୍ଡ କ୍ଷତି (heart damage), ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଦେବା ସ୍ଥାନରେ ତନ୍ତୁ ନଷ୍ଟ, ରାଡିଏସନ ଦଗ୍ଧ (radiation recall) ଓ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ଲିଉକେମିଆ ହୋଇପାରେ । କିଛି ଦିନ ପାଇଁ ପରିସ୍ରା ଗାଢ଼ ରଙ୍ଗର ହୋଇପାରେ । ଡକ୍ସୋରୁବିସିନ ଏକ ଆନ୍ଥ୍ରାସାଇକ୍ଲିନ (anthracycline) ଓ ଆଣ୍ଟିଟ୍ୟୁମର (antitumor antibiotic) ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଔଷଧ ।^[୩] ଏହା ଡିଏନଏ DNA କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ ବାଧା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରେ ।^[୪]
