ଟ୍ରେଟିନଏନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Tretinoin, ଅନ୍ୟ ନାମ ଅଲ-ଟ୍ରାନ୍ସ ରେଟିନଇକ ଏସିଡ/all-trans retinoic acid ବା ATRA),ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ବ୍ରଣ (acne) ଓ ଆକ୍ୟୁଟ ପ୍ରୋମାୟେଲୋସାଇଟିକ ଲିଉକେମିଆ (acute promyelocytic leukemia) ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କ ଚିକିତ୍ସାରେ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର କରାଯାଏ ।^[୧]^[୨]^[୩] ବ୍ରଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହା କ୍ରିମ ବା ମଲମ ଆକାରରେ ଚମରେ ଲଗାଯାଏ ।^[୩] ଲିଉକେମିଆ ରୋଗରେ ୩ ମାସ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ^[୧]

ଟ୍ରେଟିନଏନର ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଅଣନିଶ୍ୱାସୀ (shortness of breath), ମୁଣ୍ଡବଥା, କାଲୁଆ ଅନୁଭବ, ଅବସାଦ, ଶୁଷ୍କ ଚର୍ମ, ଗଲୁ, କେଶହାନୀ, ବାନ୍ତି, ପେଶୀ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଓ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ । ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ସାଂଘାତିକ ହେଲେ ଅଧିକ ଶ୍ୱେତ ରକ୍ତ କଣିକା (high white blood cell counts) ଓ ରକ୍ତ ଜମାଟ (blood clots) ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] କ୍ରିମ ଆକାରରେ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର କଲେ ଚମ ଲାଲ ହୋଇପାରେ, ଚମରୁ ଚୋପା ଛାଡ଼ିବା ଓ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟକିରଣ ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳତା ଆଦି ଦେଖାଯାଏ ।^[୩] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଶିଶୁର ହାନୀ ହେବା ଜଣାଯାଏ ।^[୧] ଏହ ରେଟିନଏଡ (retinoid) ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଏକ ଔଷଧ । ^[୨]

ସନ ୧୯୫୭ରେ ଟ୍ରେଟିନଏନ ପେଟେଣ୍ଟ ହେବା ପରେ ସନ ୧୯୬୨ରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ^[୪] ଏହାର ନାମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔଷଧ ଚିଠାରେ (World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines) ଅଛି ଯାହା ମୌଳିକ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସିସ୍ଟମ (health system) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।^[୫] ଟ୍ରେଟିନଏନ ଜେନେରିକ ନାମରେ (generic medication) ବିକ୍ରୟ ହୁଏ ।^[୬] ଇଂଲଣ୍ଡରେ ଟ୍ରେଟିନଏନ ଓ ଏରିଥ୍ରୋମାଇସିନ ମିଶ୍ରଣ ୨୫ ମିଲିର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୭.୦୫ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଓ ୧୦ମି:ଗ୍ରା: ବଟିକାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୧.୬୧ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ।^[୩]
