ଓକ୍ସାଲିପ୍ଲାଟିନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Oxaliplatin, ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଏଲୋକ୍ସାଟିନ/Eloxatin) ଏକ କର୍କଟ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ବୃହଦନ୍ତ୍ର-ମଳାଶୟ କର୍କଟ ରୋଗ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଅଧିକାଂଶ ସମୟରେ ଅଧିକ ଆଗେଇ ଯାଇଥିବା କର୍କଟ ରୋଗରେ ଏହା ଫ୍ଲୋରୋୟୁରାସିଲ (fluorouracil) ଓ ଫୋଲିନିକ ଏସିଡ (folinic acid) ସ‌ହିତ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଏହା ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ (injection into a vein) ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨]

ସାଧାରଣ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ କାଲୁଆ ଅନୁଭବ (numbness), ଥକ୍କା ଅନୁଭବ, ଅଇ, ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା ଓ ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ରକ୍ତ କଣିକା (low blood cell counts) ହେବା ଦେଖାଯାଏ । ସାଂଘାତିକ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଆଲର୍ଜି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା (allergic reactions) ହୋଇପାରେ । ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଶିଶୁର ହାନୀ ହୁଏ ।^[୨] ଏହା ପ୍ଲାଟିନମ-ବେସ କର୍କଟରୋଧୀ (platinum-based antineoplastic) ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଏକ ଔଷଧ ।^[୩] ଡିଏନଏ (DNA) ଦ୍ୱିଗୁଣନ ହେବାକୁ ଅବରୋଧ କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୨]

ସନ ୧୯୭୬ରେ ଓକ୍ସାଲିପ୍ଲାଟିନ ପେଟେଣ୍ଟ ହେବାପରେ ସନ ୧୯୯୬ରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୪] ଏହାର ନାମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔଷଧ ଚିଠାରେ (World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines) ଅଛି ଯାହା ମୌଳିକ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସିସ୍ଟମ (health system) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।^[୫] ବିକାଶଶୀଳ ଦେଶମାନଙ୍କରେ (developing world) ଏହି ଔଷଧର ଏକ ଭାଏଲର କ୍ରୟ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୮.୭୪ରୁ ୧୨୫ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର ।^[୬] ଇଂଲଣ୍ଡରେ ଏହାର ୧୦୦ମିଗ୍ରା ଡୋଜର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୨୯୯.୫୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ।^[୭]
