ପୋନେସିମୋଡ, ପୋନଭୋରି ଏହାର ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ମଲ୍ଟିପ୍ଲ ସ୍କ୍ଲେରୋସିସ୍ (MS) ରୋଗର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ । ^[୪] ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ଭାବେ ଏହା ଆଇସୋଲେଟେଡ ସିଣ୍ଡ୍ରୋମ, ରିଲାପସିଙ୍ଗ- ରେମିଟିଙ୍ଗ୍ ରୋଗ ଏବଂ ସେକେଣ୍ଡାରୀ ପ୍ରଗତିଶୀଳ ରୋଗମାନଙ୍କରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୭] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।ଉ

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ଶ୍ୱାସନଳୀ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ, ଯକୃତ ପ୍ରଦାହ ଏବଂ ଉଚ୍ଚ ରକ୍ତଚାପ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୪] ଅନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ, ଧୀର ହୃଦସ୍ପନ୍ଦନ, ନିଶ୍ୱାସ ପ୍ରଶ୍ୱାସ ଏବଂ ଚର୍ମ କର୍କଟ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରେ | ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କଲେ ଶିଶୁର କ୍ଷତି ହୋଇପାରେ । ଏହା ଏକ ସ୍ପିଙ୍ଗୋସିନ ୧-ଫସଫେଟ୍ ରିସେପ୍ଟର ମୋଡ୍ୟୁଲେଟର ଯାହା ଟି ଏବଂ ବି କୋଷଗୁଡ଼ିକର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପକୁ ହ୍ରାସ କରିଥାଏ । ^[୭]

୨୦୨୧ ମସିହାରେ ଆମେରିକା ଏବଂ ୟୁରୋପରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ପୋନେସିମୋଡ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୪] ^[୭] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ୪ ସପ୍ତାହର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ବାବଦ ୨୦୨୨ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୧୦୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ହେଉଥିଲା ।^[୮] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହି ରାଶିର ମୁଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୭୯୦୦ ଡଲାର ଅଟେ ।^[୯]
