ଡାପ୍ଟୋମାଇସିନ, ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ବେପାର ନାମ କ୍ୟୁବିସିନ, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଆଣ୍ଟିବାୟୋଟିକ ଯାହା ମେଥିସିଲିନ-ପ୍ରତିରୋଧୀ ସ୍ଟାଫିଲୋକୋକସ ଅରିଅସ (MRSA) ଭଳି ଗ୍ରାମ-ପଜିଟିଭ ଜୀବାଣୁଦ୍ୱାରା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଥିବା ଗୁରୁତର ସଂକ୍ରମଣର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ । ^[୭] ଏହା ଏକ ଶିରାରେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୭]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା, ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା, ରାସ, ଯକୃତ ସମସ୍ୟା, ମାଂସପେଶୀ ନଷ୍ଟ ହେବା ଏବଂ ଗଲୁ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୭] ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ କବକ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ, ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ନେଇଥିବା ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଏବଂ ଆଲର୍ଜି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରେ । ^[୮] ଏହା ଏକ ଲାଇପୋପେପ୍ଟାଇଡ୍ ଯାହା କେତେକ ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରିଆର ଜୀବକୋଷ ଝିଲ୍ଲି ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୭]

୨୦୦୩ ମସିହାରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏବଂ ୨୦୦୬ ମସିହାରେ ୟୁରୋପରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ଡାପ୍ଟୋମାଇସିନ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୭] ^[୮] ସ୍ଟ୍ରେପ୍ଟୋମାଇସେସ ରୋଜିଓସ୍ପୋରସରୁ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ଉପାୟରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୁଏ ।^[୯] ୨୦୧୯ ମସିହାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଜରୁରୀ ଔଷଧ ତାଲିକାରୁ ଏହାକୁ ହଟାଇ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା ।^[୧୦] ^[୧୧] ତଥାପି ଏହା ମାନବ ଔଷଧ ଭାବରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।^[୧୨]
