Usage

{{OlympicEvent|event|games}}

This template is used to link to articles about Olympic events.

• event - the name of the sport.
• games - <year> Summer or <year> Winter to link to an event in specific games. Summer or Winter to link to an overview of a sport's history in the Olympics.

Optional parameters:

• image - adding an image of the event (f.e. ).
• subcategory - add in case you want to link to a subcategory page (f.e. Tennis at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's singles).
• title - changing the written text ([[event at the XXXX Olympics|title]]). If not filled, the title will be event or event - subcategory.
• number - number of subcategories in this event..
• paralympic - if yes, the template will link to a Paralympic event.
