Usage
ଛାଞ୍ଚ:ISO 639 name pa is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code pa, for example: {{Translated page |pa |name of page at Punjabi Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Punjabi Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Punjabi Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |pa}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|pa| some text in Punjabi}} wraps the text with <span lang="pa"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code pa to include articles in Category:Articles containing Punjabi-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Punjabi |pa}}). Also available is {{Lang-pa |some text in Punjabi}} which displays as ପଞ୍ଜାବୀ: some text in Punjabi.
- {{R from other language|pa|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Punjabi-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|pa}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Punjabi-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
