Usage
ଛାଞ୍ଚ:ISO 639 name ml is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ml, for example: {{Translated page |ml |name of page at ମଲୟାଲମ Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the ମଲୟାଲମ Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from ମଲୟାଲମ Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |ml}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ml| some text in ମଲୟାଲମ}} wraps the text with <span lang="ml"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code ml to include articles in Category:Articles containing ମଲୟାଲମ-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |ମଲୟାଲମ |ml}}). Also available is {{Lang-ml |some text in ମଲୟାଲମ}} which displays as ମାଲୟାଲମ: some text in ମଲୟାଲମ.
- {{R from other language|ml|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from ମଲୟାଲମ-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ml}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to ମଲୟାଲମ-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
