Usage
ଛାଞ୍ଚ:ISO 639 name kn is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code kn, for example: {{Translated page |kn |name of page at କନ୍ନଡ଼ Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the କନ୍ନଡ଼ Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from କନ୍ନଡ଼ Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |kn}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|kn| some text in କନ୍ନଡ଼}} wraps the text with <span lang="kn"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code kn to include articles in Category:Articles containing କନ୍ନଡ଼-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |କନ୍ନଡ଼ |kn}}). Also available is {{Lang-kn |some text in କନ୍ନଡ଼}} which displays as କନ୍ନଡ଼: some text in କନ୍ନଡ଼.
- {{R from other language|kn|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from କନ୍ନଡ଼-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|kn}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to କନ୍ନଡ଼-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
