I used to fix many types of errors on wiki regularly but now creating this document so others can know the error, fix it, avoid mistakes while creating an articles and to keep a personal record. Document is English for future reference.

Here are some errors I am fixing on Wikipedia: May 2019

Reference errors

These errors occur when (common cases)

• There are <ref> tags without actual reference.
• There are references with name like this <ref name=referenename /> but no actual reference with that name exists.
• There are named reference tags in infoboxes only but not defined in the first instance.
• Reference groups mentioned but not defined.
• These are common cases but there are many other scenarios presents. I am currently fixing these common cases.

Fix

• hese issue need to be fixed by removing named reference tags that actually don't exist.
• Adding Reference for missing reference.
• Bring named references to top if names references only present in info box.

There may be more fixes. You can always fix one
