Usage
ଛାଞ୍ଚ:ISO 639 name gu is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code gu, for example: {{Translated page |gu |name of page at ଗୁଜରାଟୀ Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the ଗୁଜରାଟୀ Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from ଗୁଜରାଟୀ Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |gu}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|gu| some text in ଗୁଜରାଟୀ}} wraps the text with <span lang="gu"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code gu to include articles in Category:Articles containing ଗୁଜରାଟୀ-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |ଗୁଜରାଟୀ |gu}}). Also available is {{Lang-gu |some text in ଗୁଜରାଟୀ}} which displays as ଗୁଜରାଟୀ: some text in ଗୁଜରାଟୀ.
- {{R from other language|gu|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from ଗୁଜରାଟୀ-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|gu}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to ଗୁଜରାଟୀ-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
