Usage
ଛାଞ୍ଚ:ISO 639 name hy is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code hy, for example: {{Translated page |hy |name of page at ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |hy}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|hy| some text in ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ}} wraps the text with <span lang="hy"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code hy to include articles in Category:Articles containing ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ |hy}}). Also available is {{Lang-hy |some text in ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ}} which displays as ଆରମେନିଆନ: some text in ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ.
- {{R from other language|hy|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|hy}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to ଆର୍ମେନିଆନ-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
