Usage
ଛାଞ୍ଚ:ISO 639 name bg is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code bg, for example: {{Translated page |bg |name of page at Bulgarian Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Bulgarian Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Bulgarian Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |bg}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|bg| some text in Bulgarian}} wraps the text with <span lang="bg"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code bg to include articles in Category:Articles containing Bulgarian-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Bulgarian |bg}}). Also available is {{Lang-bg |some text in Bulgarian}} which displays as Bulgarian: some text in Bulgarian.
- {{R from other language|bg|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Bulgarian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|bg}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Bulgarian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
