ରେମିଫେଣ୍ଟାନିଲ, ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ବେପାର ନାମ ଅଲ୍ଟିଭା, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଅଫିମ ସମ୍ପର୍କୀୟ (ଓପିଓଏଡ) ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ନିଶ୍ଚେତକ ଦେବା ସମୟରେ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ନିବାରଣ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୧] ଏହା ଶିରାରେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୧]ଔଷଧର ପ୍ରଭାବ ୯୦ ସେକେଣ୍ଡ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇ ୧୫ ମିନିଟ୍ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହିଥାଏ ।^[୧]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଶ୍ୱାସକ୍ରିୟା ହ୍ରାସ, ମନ୍ଥର ହୃତ୍‌ସ୍ପନ୍ଦନ, ନିମ୍ନ ରକ୍ତଚାପ, କଠିନ ମାଂସପେଶୀ, ବାନ୍ତି, ଏବଂ ଗଲୁ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] ବ୍ୟବହାର ପରେ ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ପାଇଁ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସ୍ତନ୍ୟପାନ କରାଇବା ସୁପାରିଶ କରାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ ।^[୨] ଏହା ଏମ ଓପିଅଏଡ଼ ରିସେପ୍ଟରକୁ ସକ୍ରିୟ କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୧]
