ଆଣ୍ଟିଭେନମ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Antivenom, ବା ଆଣ୍ଟିଭେନିନ /antivenin, ଭେନମ ଆଣ୍ଟିସେରମ/venom antiserum ବା ଆଣ୍ଟିଭେନମ ଇମ୍ମ୍ୟୁନୋଗ୍ଲୋବ୍ୟୁଲିନ/ antivenom immunoglobulin) ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ଆଣ୍ଟିବଡିରୁ (antibodies) ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଯାଏ ଓ ବିଷାକ୍ତ ଜନ୍ତୁ କାମୁଡ଼ିଥିବା (venomous) ରୋଗୀଙ୍କର ଚିକିତ୍ସାରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ । ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ବିଷକ୍ରିୟା ଲକ୍ଷଣ ଥିଲେ ବା ଉଚ୍ଚମାତ୍ରାର ସଙ୍କଟ ଥିଲେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦେବାକୁ ସୁପାରିସ କରାଯାଏ । ଜନ୍ତୁର ଜାତି ଓ ପ୍ରଜାତି ଅନୁସାରେ ଆଣ୍ଟିଭେନମ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ହୁଏ । ଏହା ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।[୧]
ଏହାର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ସାଂଘାତିକ ହୋଇପାରେ । ଏହାଦ୍ୱାରା ସେରମ ସିକନେସ (serum sickness), ଅଣନିଶ୍ୱାସି (shortness of breath), ଓ ଆନାଫାଇଲାକ୍ସିସ ହୋଇପାରେ ।[୧] ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ପ୍ରାଣୀର ବିଷ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରି ଅନ୍ୟ ଗୃହପାଳିତ ପଶୁଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ପରିମାଣରେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଏହି ଗୃହପାଳିତ ପଶୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆଣ୍ଟିବଡି ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରି ପରିସ୍କାର କରାଯାଏ ।[୨] ବୁଢ଼ିଆଣି ଦଂଶନ (spider bites), ସାପ କାମୁଡ଼ା (snake bites), ମାଛ କାମୁଡ଼ା (fish stings) ଓ ବିଛା ଦଂଶନ (scorpion stings) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଭିନ୍ନ ଭିନ୍ନ ଧରଣର ଆଣ୍ଟିଭେନିନ ମିଳେ ।[୩]
ସନ ୧୮୦୦ରେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଆଣ୍ଟିଭେନିନ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ଓ ୧୯୫୦ ମସିହାରୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଗଲା ।[୨][୪] ଏହାର ନାମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔଷଧ ଚିଠାରେ (World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines) ଅଛି ଯାହା ମୌଳିକ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସିସ୍ଟମ (health system) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।[୫] ବିକାଶଶୀଳ ଦେଶମାନଙ୍କରେ (developing world) ଏହି ଔଷଧର ପ୍ରକାର ଅନୁସାରେ ଏକ ଭାଏଲର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୯.୦୦ରୁ ୧୧୮.୮୦ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର ।[୬] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ଏହାର ଏକ ଡୋଜର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୨,୩୦୦୦ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାର ।[୭][୮] }}
