ପ୍ରୁକାଲୋପ୍ରାଇଡ, ଏକ ବେପାର ନାମ ରେଜୋଲର, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା କୌଣସି ଅଜ୍ଞାତ କାରଣରୁ କ୍ରନିକ କୋଷ୍ଠକାଠିନ୍ୟ ହେଉଥିଲେ ତାହାର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୧] ^[୨] କୌଣସି ରେଚକ ବା ଲାକ୍ସେଟିଭ ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ନ ହେଲେ ଏହା ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୋଇପାରେ; ଯଦିଓ ସ୍କଟଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡରେ ଏହାର ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର ସୁପାରିଶ କରାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ ।^[୩] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୧]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା, ଅଇ, ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା ଏବଂ ପେଟ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଆଲର୍ଜି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଏବଂ ଆତ୍ମହତ୍ୟା ପ୍ରବଣତା ହୋଇପାରେ।^[୨] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଅସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଅଟେ ।^[୨] ଏହା ଏକ ୫-ଏଚଟି_୪(5-HT₄ରିସେପ୍ଟର) ଆଗୋନିଷ୍ଟ ଯାହା ଅନ୍ତନଳୀକୁ ଅଧିକ ଗତିଶୀଳ କରେ ଓ ଏହାଦ୍ୱାରା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୧]

୨୦୦୯ ମସିହାରେ ୟୁରୋପରେ,^[୧] ୨୦୧୧ରେ କାନାଡାରେ,^[୪] ୨୦୧୪ରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲରେ,^[୫] ଏବଂ ୨୦୧୮ରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରୁକାଲୋପ୍ରାଇଡ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ^[୨] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ୨୦୨୧ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଏହି ଔଷଧର ୪ ସପ୍ତାହ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୬୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଥିଲା ।^[୩] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହି ରାଶିର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୪୩୦ ଡଲାର ଥିଲା ।^[୬]
