ପେମେଟ୍ରେକ୍ସେଡ, ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ବେପାର ନାମ ଆଲିମ୍ଟା, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ମେସୋଥେଲିଓମା ଏବଂ ଅଣ-ଛୋଟ କୋଷ ଫୁସଫୁସ କର୍କଟ (NSCLC) ରୋଗର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୨] ଏହା ମେସୋଥେଲିଓମା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ଯାହା ପ୍ଲୁରା ସହିତ ଜଡିତ ଏବଂ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରୋପଚାରଦ୍ୱାରା ଅପସାରଣ କରାଯାଇପାରିବ ନାହିଁ ।^[୩] ଏହା ଏକ ଶିରାରେ ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକ୍ସନ ସାହାଯ୍ୟରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଜ୍ୱର, ସଂକ୍ରମଣ, ପାଟିର ପ୍ରଦାହ, ରାସ, ଅଇ, ଥକାପଣ, ଅଣନିଶ୍ୱାସ, ଏବଂ ଛାତି ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୩] ଅନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଅସ୍ଥି ମଜ୍ଜା ଦମନ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୩] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର ଶିଶୁର କ୍ଷତି କରିପାରେ ।^[୩] ଥାଇମିଡାଇଲେଟ ଟ୍ରାନ୍ସଫରେଜ ଅବରୋଧ କରି ଓ ଡିଏନଏ ତ‌ଥା ଆରଏନଏ (DNA ଏବଂ RNA)ର ନିର୍ମାଣକୁ ଅବରୋଧ କରି ଏହା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ।^[୪] ^[୨]

୨୦୦୪ ମସିହାରେ ଆମେରିକା ଏବଂ ୟୁରୋପରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ପେମେଟ୍ରେକ୍ସେଡ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୪] ^[୩] ଏହା ଏକ ସାଧାରଣ ଔଷଧ ଭାବରେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ। ^[୨] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ୨୦୨୧ ସୁଦ୍ଧାର ଏହାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୪୫୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଥିଲା ।^[୨] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହି ପରିମାଣ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୩,୭୦୦ ଡଲାର ଥିଲା ।^[୫]
