ସେଫ୍ଟୋଲୋଜେନ/ଟାଜୋବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟାମ, ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ହେଉଛି ଜେରବାକ୍ସା, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ଆଣ୍ଟିବାୟୋଟିକ୍ ଯାହା ଜଟିଳ ମୂତ୍ରନଳୀ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ, ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ମିଳିଥିବା ନିମୋନିଆ ଏବଂ ଜଟିଳ ଉଦରସଂକ୍ରମଣର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୩] ଉଦର ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ପାଇଁ ଏହା ମେଟ୍ରୋନିଡାଜୋଲ ସହିତ ମିଳିତ ଭାବରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ । ^[୩] ଏହା ଏକ ଶିରାରେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକ୍ସନ ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ^[୨]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ବାନ୍ତି, ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା, କୋଷ୍ଠକାଠିନ୍ୟ, ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା ଏବଂ ଜ୍ୱର ହୋଇପାରେ । ^[୨] ଅନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଆନାଫାଇଲକ୍ସିସ୍ ଏବଂ କ୍ଲୋଷ୍ଟ୍ରିଡିଏଡସ୍ ଡିଫାଇସିଲ୍ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ହୋଇପାରେ । ^[୪] ସେଫ୍ଟୋଲୋଜେନ ହେଉଛି ଏକ ସେଫାଲୋସ୍ପୋରିନ, ଯାହା ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରିଆ କୋଷର କାନ୍ଥକୁ ବ୍ୟାହତ କରୁଥିବାବେଳେ β- ଲାକ୍ଟାମେଜ୍ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପକୁ ଟାଜୋବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟାମ ଅବରୋଧ କରିଥାଏ, ଯାହା ସେଫ୍ଟୋଲୋଜାନକୁ ଅବକ୍ଷୟରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଥାଏ । ^[୨]

୨୦୧୪ ମସିହାରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏବଂ ୨୦୧୫ରେ ୟୁରୋପରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ଏହି ମିଶ୍ରଣକୁ ଅନୁମୋଦନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ।^[୨]^[୩] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଏହାର ୧.୫ଗ୍ରାମର ୧୦ ମାତ୍ରାର ଔଷଧର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୨୦୨୧ରେ ୬୭୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଥିଲା ।^[୫] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହି ପରିମାଣର ମୁଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧,୩୦୦ ଡଲାର ଅଟେ । ^[୬]
