ଅଳକା ନଦୀ ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ଏକ ନଦୀ । ଏହି ନଦୀଟି ଦେବୀ ନଦୀର ଏକ ଉପନଦୀ । [୧] ନଦୀଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବିରିଡ଼ି, ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର,ବାଲିକୁଦା, ରଘୁନାଥପୁର, ନୂଆଗାଁ, ଏରସମା ଆଦି ବ୍ଳକ ଦେଇ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହୋଇଥାଏ । ଏରସମାର ବୋଇତକୂଳିଆଠାରେ, ନଦୀଟି ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗର ମିଶିଥାଏ । ବିରିଡି, ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର,ବାଲିକୁଦା, ଏରସମା ଆଦି ବ୍ଳକର ଅନେକ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ଅଳକା ନଦୀ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରି ଚଳିଥାନ୍ତି । [୨] ପୂର୍ବେ ହରିହରପୁରଠାରେ ଏକ ବନ୍ଦର ଥିଲା । [୩] ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ କାରଣ ବଶତଃ ନଦୀଟି କ୍ରମେ ସଂକୀର୍ଣ ହୋଇଯାଉଛି ।
