ସୋଡ଼ିଅମ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋପୃସାଇଡ ବା ଏସଏନପି (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Sodium nitroprusside ବା SNP, ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋପ୍ରେସ /Nitropress) ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ରକ୍ତଚାପ (blood pressure) କମ୍ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଲକ୍ଷଣ‌ଯୁକ୍ତ ଅତ୍ୟୁଚ୍ଚ ରକ୍ତଚାପ (blood pressure is very high and resulting in symptoms) ଥିଲେ, କେତେକ ହୃଦ୍‌ପାତ ରୋଗରେ ଓ ଅପରେଶନ ସମୟରେ ରକ୍ତସ୍ରାବ (bleeding) କମେଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହି ଔଷଧ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ନିରବଛିନ୍ନ ଧୀର ପ୍ରବାହିତ ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ (continuous injection into a vein) ଆକାରରେ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଏହାର ପ୍ରଭାବ ତୁରନ୍ତ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୁଏ ଓ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୦ ମିନିଟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହେ ।^[୧]

ସୋଡ଼ିଅମ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋପୃସାଇଡର ସୋଡ଼ିଅମ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋପୃସାଇଡରେ ନିମ୍ନ ରକ୍ତଚାପ (low blood pressure) ଓ ସ୍ୟାନାଇଡ ବିଷକ୍ରିୟା (cyanide toxicity) ହୋଇପାରେ । ମେଥେମୋଗ୍ଲୋବିନେମିଆ (methemoglobinemia) ଭଳି ସାଂଘାତିକ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ମଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୧] ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ସମ୍ଭାବନ ଯୋଗୁ ଏହା ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ଦିଆଯାଏନାହିଁ ।^[୨] ଅଧିକ ମାତ୍ରାର ଔଷଧ ୧୦ ମିନିଟରୁ ଅଧିକ ସମୟ ଦିଆଯାଏନାହିଁ ।^[୩] ଏହା ରକ୍ତନଳୀ ସ୍ଫୀତ କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରେ ।^[୧]

ସୋଡ଼ିଅମ ନାଇଟ୍ରୋପୃସାଇଡ ସନ ୧୮୫୦ରେ ଆବିଷ୍କୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ଓ ସନ ୧୯୨୮ରେ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାରରେ ଲାଗିଲା । ^[୪]^[୫] ଏହାର ନାମ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନର ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔଷଧ ଚିଠାରେ (World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines) ଅଛି ଯାହା ମୌଳିକ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସିସ୍ଟମ (health system) ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅତି ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।^[୬] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଆମେରିକାରେ ଏହାର ଏକ ମାସ ଡୋଜର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୨୫ ଆମେରିକୀୟ ଡଲାରରୁ କମ୍ ।^[୭]
