Sitabinj is situated on Sita River, about 30 km from Keonjhar in Orissa. The place is noted for the ancient fresco paintings on a rock shelter called Ravan Chhaya which is like a half opened umbrella. These magnificent painting depicts a royal procession. Other main monuments found here are Sitanka Entudisala, Chaturmukha Brahma, Bhandara Ghara and several stone inscriptions.

Sitabinj is about 23 km on the Jajpur-Keonjhar Road up to Katrabeda and 7 km from there.
