Saline solution for intravenous infusion. The white port at the base of the bag is where additives can be injected. The port with the blue cover is where the bag is spiked with an infusion set.

ସାଲାଇନ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Saline, ଅନ୍ୟ ନାମ ସାଲାଇନ ସଲ୍ୟୁସନ/saline solution) ଏକ ଦ୍ରବଣ ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ସୋଡ଼ିଅମ କ୍ଲୋରାଇଡ (sodium chloride) ଓ ପାଣି ମିଶିଥାଏ; ଏହା ଅନେକ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ବ୍ୟବ‌ହାର ହୁଏ । ଏହା କ୍ଷତ ସଫା କରିବାରେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରେ, କଣ୍ଟାକ୍ଟ ଲେନ୍ସ (contact lens) ବାହାର କରିବାରେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରେ ଓ ଶୁଷ୍କ ଆଖିରେ (dry eyes) ପକାଯାଏ । ନିର୍ଜଳନ (dehydration) ଥିଲେ ବିଶେଷତଃ ପାକଅନ୍ତନଳୀ ପ୍ରଦାହ (gastroenteritis) ଓ ଡାଏବେଟିକ କିଟୋଏସିଡୋସିସ (diabetic ketoacidosis) ନିର୍ଜଳନରେ ଏହା ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ଇନଫ୍ୟୁଜନ (injection into a vein) ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ଆକାରରେ ଦିଆଯାଉଥିବା ଅନ୍ୟ ଔଷଧମାନଙ୍କୁ ପତଳା କରିବାକୁ ଏହା ମିଶାଯାଏ ।
