ଶରତ ପୂଜାରୀ ଜଣେ ଖ୍ୟାତନାମା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସିନେ ଅଭିନେତା । ତାଙ୍କର ଜନ୍ମ ୮ ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ୧୯୩୪ରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ନୟାଗଡ଼ ଜିଲାରେ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।
ସେ ୬୦ ଦଶକର ଆରମ୍ଭରୁ ଏବେ ଯାଏଁ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସିନେମା ଜଗତରେ ଜଣେ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଅଭିନେତା ଭାବରେ ଅନେକ ସଫଳ ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ରର ଅଭିନୟ କରିସାରିଛନ୍ତି ।
ଶିକ୍ଷା ଓ ପ୍ରାରମ୍ଭିକ ଜୀବନ
ତାଙ୍କର ବାଳଶିକ୍ଷା ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଅନେକ ସ୍କୁଲରେ ସରିଥିଲା । ତାହାପରେ ସେ ଅର୍ଥନୀତିରେ ସ୍ନାତକ ଓ ୧୯୫୬ରେ ଚିତ୍ରାଙ୍କନରେ ଆହ୍ଲାବାଦ ବିଶ୍ଵବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରୁ ଡିପ୍ଲୋମା ସାରିଥିଲେ । ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଥମ ଚାକିରି ବ୍ଲକ ଡିଜାଇନର ଓ ପବ୍ଲିସିଟି ଏଜେଣ୍ଟ ଭାବରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ୧୯୫୯ରେ ସେ "ଅର୍ଥନୀତି"ର ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଭାବରେ ବରଗଡ଼ର ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ କଲେଜରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ।[୧]
