ଡାଣ୍ଟ୍ରୋଲିନ୍ ସୋଡିୟମ, ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ବେପାର ନାମ ଡାଣ୍ଟ୍ରିଅମ, ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ମାଲିଗାନାଣ୍ଟ ହାଇପରଥର୍ମିଆ, ନ୍ୟୁରୋଲେପ୍ଟିକ୍ ମାଲିଗାଣ୍ଟ ସିଣ୍ଡ୍ରୋମ ଏବଂ ମାଂସପେଶୀ ସ୍ପାଷ୍ଟିସିଟିର ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ।^[୩] ^[୪] ଏଥିରେ ଏକାଧିକ ସ୍କ୍ଲେରୋସିସ୍, ମସ୍ତିଷ୍କ ସେରେବ୍ରାଲ୍ ପାଲ୍‌‌ସି କିମ୍ବା ଷ୍ଟ୍ରୋକ୍ ହେତୁ ହେଉଥିବା ସ୍ପାଷ୍ଟିସିଟି ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୪] ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହାରରେ ଏମ୍‌ଡିଏମ୍ଏ (MDMA) ବିଷକ୍ରିୟା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ଥାଏ ।^[୫] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ କିମ୍ବା ଶିରାରେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକ୍ସନ ଆକାରରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୩]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ନିଦ୍ରାଳୁ, ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବୁଲାଇବା, ଦୁର୍ବଳତା ଏବଂ ତରଳ ଝାଡ଼ା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୪] ଶିରାଭ୍ୟନ୍ତର ଇଞ୍ଜେକସନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପ୍ରଦାହ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିପାରେ |^[୪] ଅନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ଯକୃତ ସମସ୍ୟା କିମ୍ବା ଦୃତ ହୃଦ୍‌ଗତି ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୩] କଙ୍କାଳ ମାଂସପେଶୀଦ୍ୱାରା ସିଏ^୨+ (Ca ²⁺⁾ ଆୟନକୁ ଅବରୋଧ କରିବାଦ୍ୱାରା ଏହାର ସଂକୋଚନକୁ ରୋକିଥାଏ ।^[୩]

୧୯୬୭ ମସିହାରେ ସ୍ନାଇଡର ଏହି ଡାଣ୍ଟ୍ରୋଲିନ ତିଆରି କରିଥିଲେ ।^[୫] ୧୯୭୪ ମସିହାରେ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ଏହା ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୪] ଏହା ଏକ ସାଧାରଣ ଔଷଧ ଭାବରେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ।^[୬] ମୋଟ ୭୨୦ ମିଗ୍ରାର ୩୬ଟି ଭାଏଲ ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଡାକ୍ତରଖାନାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି ଯାହା ୭୦ କିଲୋଗ୍ରାମ ଓଜନର ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ।^[୭] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ରାଶିର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୧୮୯୯ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଏବଂ ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ୨୦୨୦ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଏହାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୩୦୦୦ ଡଲାର୍ ^[୩] ^[୮]
