ଆମିଟ୍ରିପ୍ଟିଲିନ, ବିକ୍ରୟ ନାମ ଏଲାଭିଲ ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ଅନେକ ପ୍ରକାର ମାନସିକ ରୋଗରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨] ମୂଖ୍ୟ ଅବସାଦ ରୋଗ (major depressive disorder), ଉତ୍କଣ୍ଠା ରୋଗ (anxiety disorder), ଆଟେନସନ ଡେଫିସିଟ ହାଇପରଆକ୍ଟିଭିଟି ରୋଗ (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) ଓ ବାଇପୋଲାର ଡିଜଅର୍ଡ଼ର ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ରୋଗରେ ଏହା ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨]^[୩] ଏହା ଅଧକପାଳିର ପ୍ରତିଷେଧ, ନୁରୋପାଥିକ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଯେପରିକି ଫାଇବ୍ରୋମ୍ୟାଲଜିଆ, ପୋଷ୍ଟଥର୍ପେଟିକ ନିଉରାଲଜିଆ ଓ ନିଦ୍ରାହୀନତାର (insomnia) ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରିବାକୁ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୨]^[୪] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ ଦିଆଯାଏ । ^[୨]
