Usage
ଛାଞ୍ଚ:ISO 639 name mr is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code mr, for example: {{Translated page |mr |name of page at Marathi Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Marathi Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Marathi Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |mr}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|mr| some text in Marathi}} wraps the text with <span lang="mr"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Marathi-language text. Also available is {{Lang-mr |some text in Marathi}} which displays as ମରାଠୀ: some text in Marathi.
- {{R from other language|mr|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Marathi-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|mr}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Marathi-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
